A brief history...
Huffman Heating & Cooling Inc. has been a family owned and operated business since 1948. Company founder Fred Huffman came to Rochester after his service in the Marines in WWII and established the company shortly thereafter. He built a loyal customer base, some of whom are still with us today.
In the early days the majority of our service was on oil heating equipment. As oil burners became nearly obsolete in most areas, our focus shifted to gas heating and central air conditioning.
Freds home served as the office and the shop until 1986 when we moved the shop to it's current location at 63 Henrietta St.
The company's current, second generation owner/operator Eliot Huffman, has been in the business full time since 1979. He has kept the company small in order to give each customer personalized service. Although our customer base has grown over the years, we still assure everyone a commitment to quality service and attention to detail. We will always strive to meet your high expectations of us as your HVAC contractor.
